Expedition FAQ
A minimum of PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) is required. Wakatobi's gentle conditions make it an excellent destination for newer divers. Please bring your certification card.
Wakatobi is known for its gentle, predictable currents — a welcome contrast to Komodo or Raja Ampat. Most sites are suitable for relaxed multi-level diving, which is part of what keeps the reefs so pristine.
Outstanding. Wakatobi is celebrated for pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and other critters. Camera setups with macro lenses are strongly recommended.
Full refund 60+ days before departure. 50% refund 30–59 days before. No refund within 30 days. We strongly recommend travel insurance covering trip cancellation.
Yes — Nitrox (EAN 32%) is included for all certified Nitrox divers at no extra charge. 12L aluminium tanks are standard; 15L tanks are available on request.

ExceptionalSwimming through a painting
The soft corals at House Reef were unlike anything I've seen. This place is an underwater garden — every dive felt like swimming through a painting.

Very goodExcellent value, relaxed pace
Excellent value and a wonderfully relaxed pace. Would love an extra night or two to explore more of the park, but the diving was first-class.

ExceptionalPunches above its weight
Smaller destination but the diving punches way above its weight. Zero crowds, pristine reefs, and a crew that genuinely cares about conservation.

ExceptionalFaultless from start to finish
Everything ran like clockwork — briefings, boat logistics, dive timing. The crew anticipated what you needed before you asked. I'd book again without a second thought.

Very goodWonderful diving, minor niggles
The diving exceeded expectations and the guides were superb. A couple of small comfort issues on a full boat, but nothing that took away from an unforgettable week.
